Great American Opens Mississippi office

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Great American Furniture Services has opened an office in Saucier, Miss., to provide operations and marketing support for its sales promotion business.

The office at 21786 Saucier Fairley Road is led by Wanda Noble, GAFS executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Susan Bankston, vice president of sales. It is staffed by three additional full-time employees, said Jeff Yellen, CEO of the sales and liquidation specialist.

"The Mississippi office gives us a closer connection with the growing demand of our clients and the promotional sales business," Noble said in a release.

President Chris Noll said that the company needs "to stay close to our clients to assist them as they get through these very difficult and challenging times," noting that the company also is looking to expand into California, Colorado and "somewhere in the Northeast" by next year.

GAFS also has offices in Chicago, Houston and Charlotte, N.C.
